Not sure how to add a description, so I'm hoping you guys all find this. My drawing is going to represent the idea of chasing a childhood dream, and transitioning into the future. With the young child on the bicycle envisioning himself as a professional Motocross rider. Planning on doing watercolors, but I'd like suggestions on what you guys think the best media would be.
I like how your concept is a very unique take on the theme. Watercolors would look cool with this piece, especially if you decide to use dramatic lighting. A suggestion I'd make would be to maybe play with the perspective or movement of the piece to really show the boy is chasing that dream. Great job!
In the background you should have the neighborhood street that the child is most likely on, turning into a professional dirtbiking track. the idea is really cool and i think watercolors would work well, but if you want more control over some of the paiting like on the bike maybe acrylics? i like it :)
I gree with Marie in moving the pieces to show the boys dream itsto be a motocross rider, but its a nice idea of showing transition. I think watercolor should look good in you project . I saw you working on it in class and i think the size of paper you are using would stand out more with watercolors.
You're doing awesome so far and the concept probably is the best I've seen. Just make sure, please, make sure that the view point and angles don't get screwed up. Then you'll be good to go!
