I like the idea, I'm wondering what media you plan to use, if it is going to be like a cartoon I would suggest sharp lines and color, I always think that looks cool!
Those all look super cute! I love your style. How do you plan to show this piece: in watercolor, acrylic, maybe not even a painting, but a more comic style like Kurt suggested. You could even expand on that idea and make it a whole little comic, telling the story of conflict/resolution.
